These are the two qualities that become immediately obviously when you enter his restaurant. Shahen Shah always has a kind welcome to anyone he meets. The energetic 41 year old was born and raised in Kabul whose family has it roots in the great tribe of “Shinwar.” He attended school as a refugee during the civil war in his home country.
Immigrating to the US in 2015, he and his family and 8 beautiful children now call Nebraska home. His passion and love for cooking led him to open Shaheen’s and an Afghan grocery store. His food has been loved and praised by many friends and how he’d love to share that passion with you!
